Carol Mott–Binkley joined Fulcrum in 2003, as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman. Carol has been Mark Friedman’s personal/executive assistant since her hire in 2003. Carol has worked in the secretarial field for over 40 years and is well versed on all things secretarial and administrative; she takes her vast career experiences and throws in a good dose of street smarts and can tackle a bevy of responsibilities at Fulcrum; with priority and focus on assisting the Chairman. Carol loves that her job is never day to day or mundane but always changing and almost always interesting. Prior to her arrival at Fulcrum, Carol enjoyed a 19-year career at Tower Records Corporate in Advertising/Marketing (in-house agency) and the Office of the President at Tower.
Carol served a term as a mentor in the 2016 and current class of “She Shares” Sacramento’s professional women’s mentorship/networking program. Mercy Hospital Guild member since 1993, she celebrates 25 years of weekly volunteering at the same hospital she was born & worked at for high school credits in the Regional Occupational Program.
When not running the company, Carol enjoys travel, gardening & backyard chicken-keeping with her husband and 2 rescued Chihuahuas. Carol is an avid iphone street photographer who has been published many times in the Sacramento Bee newspaper, she shows her iphone photographs in galleries in the Sacramento region, Davis & Roseville. Carol has been awarded numerous ribbons in the California State Fair Photography competition in years 2016, 2017 & 2018. Miss Mott graduated from Hiram H. Johnson High School in 1978, but gained most of her knowledge on the streets of Sacramento.
Carol is a very proud Sacramento native.
