Sarah Barkawi is the Vice President of Marketing for Fulcrum Property, where she strategically manages all marketing and design efforts within the company. This includes the marketing strategy and design of all properties owned and managed by Fulcrum Property, as well as the main Fulcrum Property brand.
Prior to Fulcrum Property, she has spent the last five years working in directorship roles at some of the region’s most visionary design and advertising agencies, overseeing all client projects, strategy, marketing efforts and budgets, as well as managing a team of direct reports. Prior to that, she was a Project Manager working for Bank of America in the IT department, where she was formally trained in Project Management methodologies, rounding out her professional toolkit.
Sarah studied Media Communications with an emphasis in design at California State University Sacramento.
Sarah served three terms on the board of the Verge Center for the Arts and is heavily involved in the creative community of Sacramento. She is service-focused and volunteerism is a big part of her life, having been a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and has served as a mentor through Women’s Empowerment program. She is a Sacramento enthusiast, loving everything this city has to offer. She spent her childhood moving frequently, both nationally and internationally and has finally found a hometown here in Sacramento.
